 When does the season start: Official training will begin on Tuesday, August 17, 2010

When do the league games begin:  League games begin Saturday, August 28, 2010

Schedules: All team game schedules will be posted and communicated about 2 weeks before the season starts.

Where are the league games played: Carolina FC participates in the CESA Recreation League. We compete against teams from all over the Upstate, including Furman, Clemson, Greenwood, Spartanburg, Greenville and others. Games are played at the MESA Soccer Complex - 1020 Anderson Ridge Rd, Greer, SC, 29651.

When are the league games played: Games are played on Saturdays as per schedule.

How many games are played: Each team will play a minimum of 8 league games. Max 10 games.

When does the season end: League games will end the weekend of November 6, 2010.

Where do CFC Teams Train: Carolina FC teams train @ the CFC Soccer Complex.

When is Training: CFC Developmental Teams train 2 times per week on Tuesday and Thursday at the CFC Soccer Complex. U8 Boys & Girls (5:15-6:15pm), U10 Boys & Girls (5:15-6:15pm), U12 Boys & Girls (TBD)

What are the fees: The fees are $175 per player for the season. This includes 2 game/training T-shirts, all league registration and referee fees, coaching fees, field maintenance costs and a season medal or award.

How do I register: All registration is done thru our online registration system, click online registration button on the home page.

Who will be my coach: CFC is fortunate to have some of the best coaches that Spartanburg has to offer. All teams have a head coach that must apply for the position. Our Director of Coaching along with the Developmental Director of Coaching will accept all applications. All coaches will receive training at the beginning of each season and receive continued education as to the training methods and philosophy of the club.  Our professional coaches will coach teams along with volunteer coaches during the week at practice. The team head coach will manage the game day. All players will receive an evaluation during the season so player, coach and parent can monitor the development of each individual.

Uniforms: Each player will have 2 game/training T-shirts. Players should wear black shorts and blue socks. All players must wear soccer shin pads to practice and games. Shin pads are to be worn under the socks please. Each player needs a ball at every practice. Soccer Shorts, Socks and accessories can be bought at Academy Sports & Outdoors.

What happens with bad weather: Practice days - All parents will be notified thru email, our website (decision posted by 3pm), and/or thru a team phone tree. We will not practice in bad weather. Game Days - Check the CESA website (www.carolinaelitesc.com ) or hotline (tel: 864.288.0980) after 7.30am on game day. Also parents will be notified thru the team phone tree.
